John is an avid supporter of Northland sport - a fact which is reflected in Team Tait’s major sponsorships of Northland Rugby and Cricket, and numerous other sponsorships at club level.

John is currently President of the Whangarei Racing Club and sincerely believes that “the more you put into the community in which you live, the more you get out of it”.
